Hunting of the Snark: Late Riser

An illustration project for a live action short film, one of three. :O The project was handed off to me (ok, more like dumped on my lap very suddenly with a tight deadline XP), and though I love croquill inking and such, I 'inked' it in TV Paint. Wups, and that's Lewis Carroll.

The editor of Scientific American thought this layout was boring, but oh well. ;o; My teacher and I liked it. An oldie but a goodie. I don't quite remember what the assignment was, maybe it was to illustrate an animal and it's environment/habitat, or some sort of 'how-to' or diagram.

WIP- GMD Badge

I wanted to scan one of these badges I've been working on before I killed it with color - I've been wanting to learn how to brush ink for awhile now, and well, after brush inking 100+ cels you learn pretty quick. :P I inked this one with a size 0 WN series 7 brush, and though most people probably can't see a noticeable difference unless you compare it side by side with a brush pen-inked badge.. the difference is there. XP You can achieve finer points and details with a good ink brush, though for coloring purposes this brush is probably a little too fine. Please ignore glaring anatomical errors. :P
